THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GEOTOURISM,
MINING TOURISM, SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
The international conference GEOTOUR is an annual meeting dedicated to presentation and discussion of all aspects of geotourism, nature protection and interdisciplinary studies conducted by both academic and industrial participants. This year it will be organized 12 time. The conference is open for everyone interested in fields of tourism, especially geotourism, Earth Sciences and tradition of human culture. Following the GEOTOUR meetings tradition, it will be specifically open to young researchers and students. The aim of the conference is to share and expand the theoretical knowledge and practical experiences within all fields of science and research related to conference topics. GEOTOUR 2017 will be held from 27th- 30th September 2017 in Kraków (Poland). Plenary and thematic sessions will be accompanied by visit in salt mine and city tour. Two field trips showing most significant geotouristic attractive areas in vicinity of Kraków will be organized.
